There's probably some fallout from that, but equally allowing other people to Do Stuff to you is pretty scary whatever it is.
Take the drugs, close your eyes, drift away. It'll soon be done.

@greem I’ll be honest, it’s the anaesthetic that freaks me out I think. My dad always said “oh, I just got asked to count back from 10 and by 6 I was asleep. Then instantly, I woke up, it was all done”.
No idea why, the idea of having no concept of anything is utterly wild

I am petrified and had to have quite big surgery recently. The anticipation was dreadful. Then it was fine. It's always fine. It's just your brain. Who is a LIAR. All the best to you.
