I swear I just heard a student walk past in the corridor saying quietly "I'm P Diddy!"

@TheBreadmonkey that is a very good point, my brain is a lying bastard! Thank you!
@greem I’ll be honest, it’s the anaesthetic that freaks me out I think. My dad always said “oh, I just got asked to count back from 10 and by 6 I was asleep. Then instantly, I woke up, it was all done”.
No idea why, the idea of having no concept of anything is utterly wild
Signed the surgery consent form. I’ll be honest, I am scared, even though I know it’ll be fine. I wonder how much of my fear comes from seeing my dad in hospital as a small boy.
@MikeFromLFE I'm more scared about general anaesthetic. It’s always been something that has scared me since a small child seeing my dad in hospital. Never had surgery before. This would be the tube in tube option
I'm scared. The consultant called from the hospital. The stone hasn't moved. They want to get it out
It's a good job I don't work for Apple anymore as I'd have some thoughts about the design of iOS that probably would not go down well.
@Janet_52square she was a paid professional, helping me get the metal button of my trousers away from the area my CT scan needed to look at!
Just had a nice Australian lady pull my trousers down
First photo Dad sends after landing at Helsinki... a Moomin coffee shop. “You were right" he says.
Blimey, the NHS is working fast today. Just sat down to lunch and my phone starts ringing. Can't answer but let it go to voicemail. It's the radiology department following up about the requested scan from the phone appointment earlier on.
@miffyhelen I’m your favourite?
My parents are off to Finland today. Just in time for NATO getting a bit antsy over their neighbours to the east!
Asked if they're going to find Moomins.
I also really wish I could play guitar like Matt Bellamy too.
I really need to get the bass guitar back out some time.
11pm seems like an appropriate time to be letting loose to Hysteria by Muse
I'm having to talk to a customer support person who I can only assume is American by how enthusiastic she is over emails. Send help.
