It might come as a surprise (or a shock) to some (especially those in the media) that not everyone on this planet considers living like a American teenager in a rich family to be something to aspire to (let alone relate to).

Some things that stand out in Tirana are the proliferation of cafes, but lack of restaurants outside tourist areas. There aren't many small grocery stores/supermarkets either.
