And in a browser this content negotiation works perfectly fine, have a look see -> https://releases.bruta.linkCan you see the icon? You can. Can you open the icon in the browser in a new tab and still see it. Yes you can. Can you use curl on the icon URL, yes, and as it defaults to json, you get the JSON-LD representation. I think that's good enough for me. I accept that it's not for you and wish you good luck with the software that you're developing. I'll stop engaging now.

Es lebt sich bequemer, wenn alles so bleibt, wie es ist. Allerdings ist es leichter, wenn die Bürger gut vorab informiert und einbezogen werden. Und es muss den Leuten vermittelt werden, welchen konkreten Vorteil sie davon haben. Gegen eine positive Veränderung hat schließlich niemand was.

@ai6yr My partner Brian worked at a group home a few years back. One day, another employee came in from taking out the trash, shrieking in panic that there were raccoons in the dumpster. They were shouting, "Call animal control! Don't anybody go out there!" Brian was a relaxed unflappable guy, and he calmly said, "Leave them to me". He found a large fallen tree branch, and tossed it into the dumpster, so that it slanted up towards the rim. Then he talked to them, saying stuff like, "Ok, party's over, you guys had better go while the going's good, otherwise they're going to call animal control on you. C'mon, let's move along!" They obediantly climbed up the branch, dropped to the ground, and scurried off into the woods. This news story reminded me of Brian's raccoon story, sort of... He never tried to give a raccoon CPR, though!

But it's just a step.This battle is far from over.Politicians and law makers need to fully understand that technology itself is not the answer to enforce laws and policies which aims to protect citizens.First then, such proposals will stop to surface.And that's the challenge ahead of all #privacy fighters. To educate people about the fundamental difference between laws, policies and technology.Technology is just a tool. It doesn't change what we think or what we do. Unless the chilling effect is the end goal.
