I got rid of facebook, instagram, twitter, and google and my life became simpler, more private, and better overall.@mrose That's really good to hear! Getting rid of Google too is impressive! I'm not quite there yet but one step at a time. Already feels lighter just being here a few hours.

@eoinho Thank you! I see the structure underneath things and shape it. Sometimes it's sitting at a piano and finding the shape of a feeling. Sometimes that's helping small businesses find order in their chaos.

Welcome @sophiekaz I am also fairly new to this. You mentioned LinkedIn, is there a fediverse alternative?
@teedubyeah welcome to you too! I don't think there is a real Fediverse equivalent to LinkedIn yet, thatโs still a big gap. The closest thing right now is using Mastodon for professional networking: there are already some really engaged professional communities there, so itโs a good place to start while things evolve. If you learn of anything new, please let me know!
