Thanks to @julien@nein.club for pointing it out!The saddest part about switching to #snac so far—besides not being able to search the wider #fediverse by hashtags—is that the wonderful #masto9 client by @julien@nein.club isn’t compatible. Since snac supports some basic Mastodon API endpoints, it could be a fun winter project to try making a snac-compatible client for #plan9front, inspired by masto9.

Who remembers the pirate radio station Energy 106 from the late 90s? Energy 106 was a dance, trance and EDM radio station based in Belfast but the mast for it was located on ‘Alien Mountain’ in Monaghan. They would shut down in the early 00s, and then not heard from for a while. They recently got as licence to broadcast on DAB digital radio and are working on getting their studio set up for live broadcasts.
