The plot is also very odd. It's like a kid-safe mafia-debt story. It's not kiddy enough to be a real kids movie, but it's certainly not a mature adult movie. I guess it was trying to appeal to both but it's in a really odd place. ...it probably doesn't deserve this much analysis tbh.
