There are a number of (free) programs that will get data from an oscilloscope into your computer. Depends a lot on the scope but a lot rely on the native control interface over GP-IB (HP-IB). Some, like this one, will mimic an HP-GL (vector) plotter (or early HP laser printers too). Some will grab a rastersnapshot. I expect a sound card could be used to record the output on analogue intended for Y-t plotters. I know of one that will digitise a web cam image from a totally analogue scope."7470.EXE is a Win32-based emulator for the HP 7470A plotter. It will acquire an HP-GL/2 plot and render it in a window." I am going to post some others I find here for those that are interested.http://www.ke5fx.com/gpib/7470.htm#HP-GL #HP-IB #GP-IB #oscilloscopes
