Deputy PM is great for him and Starmer likely wants a close ally after the recent shakeup though.I'm not a fan of Mahmood but she's perfectly placed if there is to be an about-face on the proscription.Cooper meanwhile... I think she's a terrible choice for FCDO, and this looks like grooming to be Starmer's successor having held two of the three Great Offices.
