Well, I made the groups for @knitting and @sewing and they seem to be working. Right now, Knitting will only boost from followers, but I have put in a request to make it from anyone that mentions the group. So, uh... Enjoy!#sewing #knitting #fiberartsPlease boost so others that might not follow the hashtags can see. Also, if you would like to mention the groups but not have it boosted on the group, you can use ! before the @Thanks so much!

@quailmom This pattern had numerous features that I liked, including those endless narrow facings, the centre seam, and the yoke. However, the fit, neckline, and massive pockets really didn’t work for me. Not sure if I’ll try a rebuild, or just leave it as an interesting experiment. Yours looks great. Well done!

So... I seem to have got myself a little SCA project. We have USAians who are mourning the demise of Joann's, and even elsewhere people need fabric for garb. So I'm now putting together a list of worldwide suppliers who do suitable fabrics and trims, which basically means plain-dyed or yarn-dyed natural fibres (mostly linen/wool/silk), or stuff that looks like them for those who can't use those fibres. Broad ranges are good, but I will include specialist suppliers (someone recommended one in Poland who does top-quality wool fabrics in different weights). Please recommend (including web link)!#sewing #SCA
