  • @adam That accountant of yours better be worth that amount of paper and toner.

@gtbray @mcourcel Nah, just lots and lots of receipts for both incoming and outgoing money. Unfortunately, many of these are just emails, not PDF docs, and I had all headers on, LOL. Oops. I'm going to see if the relevant parts are predictably in the same place on each printout, and one would logically think that it is, considering every email is worded the same, simply with differing dates and amounts. I can then just simply instruct the accountant to look in this particular place for each email, rather than reprinting without the headers. Toner and paper are already wasted, so hopefully won't have to waste more reprinting all of them.

@mcourcel He used to work for the government, and he's done my dad's and grandmother's taxes for 30 years, and he's been accurate down to the penny every single time. So I think he's good.

@briankrebs Oh, why do paperwork at all? I mean, its just such a pain to track all those cybersecurity incidents. Just resolve it internally, and no one really needs to know. Afterall, all their data is out there anyhow. Oh, and while we're at it, its a real pain in the ass to have to study, determine, collate, report, and publish data on all the deaths that companies cause. Just let 'em die. It would save so much more money. To hell with the masses, as long as there's enough of them to turn the cogs of business, let it happen. Laisez faire at its finest.
