I love it when they draw a carrot on top of a carrot cake to remind you this ain't no ordinary cake you're dealing with.@MostlyHarmless So true. You don’t see a picture of a forest on a Black Forest gateaux, or a picture of a lemon on a lemon drizzle cake. The carrot is a warning.
The next cake I make will come with a picture of a cauliflower on it, see if people are put off. More for me, and it won’t even have any cauliflower in it, ha!
