@dannotdaniel This is very different from my last Bay Area tech startup team intros that were like "I got a perfect score on the SATs at the age of eight while high on PCP (for scientific reasons)" and "my grandma invented Harvard."

@dannotdaniel I couldn't. We did team intros today and the "fun facts" about coworkers were things like:

"I read a book a month!"

and

"I can play the ukelele!"

I can't break the spirit of the emotionally desolate.

I wanted to post this on Facebook, but didn't want to offend my Facebook "friends."

If you didn't get an awkward, painfully-staged family portrait done by a distant cousin or amateur photographer that you found on Facebook Marketplace, are you actually a family?

I want to start a brewery where we only make IPAs and just own the flavor palate by giving all of the beers names like:

Cat Pee
Soggy DIPA
Gym Socks
Marge's Musty Basement
Pussy Piss

It's #Caturday so this is a throwback to 2016 when I became the new owner of an ex-coworker's kitten calendar and spent my lunch breaks "redecorating" it.

I love soup as much as the next soup lover, but my least favorite thing about microwaving a can of soup is popping open the tab without burning myself.

Is there a trick?

FYI: Many drugstores have the new COVID vaccine available.

My pharmacy (CVS in California) had a checkbox to confirm I'm eligible, but their eligibility list included something like "are you inactive?" and I was sitting on my sofa at the time so I was like "yep!" and I was able to get my shot today, so hopefully it will help you "qualify" as well.

I can't speak for other states or pharmacies, but I'd recommend checking it out!
