#BookReview for "We Are Eating the Earth: The Race to Fix Our Food System and Save Our Climate" by Michael GrunwaldGreat purpose, so-so execution.Land isn't free. When agriculture isn't as efficient as possible, we take land away from other critical needs - and animal agriculture is incredibly inefficient.First third of the book feels like a biography for a random individual, but persevere.Biofuels sound good are a bad idea: they require vast amounts of lands to grow crops for fuel, when it would be better to grow crops to feed people.Mention of cloned meat (I think that technology has a lot of promise).Author believes numbers don't support organic farming, vertical farming, regenerative farming. Might be right: I would like to see more sources on that.
