@Brask @StillIRise1963 you asked which I preferred and to be honest the reason I don’t like that grey is it reminds me of a previous failure I had when developing black and white film, I screwed up the photo chemicals and compressed everything down on the roll to a terrible mid grey and it’s that mid grey

#photography Hi, can you tell me which of these you like most, colour or B&W ?@Brask @StillIRise1963 agreed. It’s not just about contrast. There is a tonal mapping from colors to shades of grey distinct from contrast but I often find in my own work that when I don’t like how a picture is turning out, I make the mistake of reaching for contrast when the real problem is the tone map is off.
That red is mapping to that grey, and I don’t like that grey and how it relates to the rest of the image as much as I like the red in the way it relates to the rest of its image.

#photography Hi, can you tell me which of these you like most, colour or B&W ?@Brask @StillIRise1963 I like the color one. There is not exactly the right kind of contrast that I would like for the black and white one, and the color variation makes up for that with the colorized version in my opinion
But that’s just my opinion!
