I haven't talked much about my upcoming release of "A Goblin's Plight". It's an old manuscript I've finally polished and formatted.
A Goblin's Plight is a fun romp through the classic tropes of fantasy, with a band of adventurers going on a quest, battling monsters and eradicating evil.

One of my favorite authors is about to write her first fairy-tale retelling, joining the many, many authors who do that.
Why?
Why in the world would you take an old story and rewrite it?
It doesn't even appeal to me as a reader. I know these things must sell, because authors keep doing it, but honestly?
I'd rather read new, original stories.
