@tim_lavoie personally, I don’t think that is happening, this is the first time I’ve heard that idea;

I believe the angry drivers in this situation don’t live on the neighbourhoods where they complain about the cameras, but they’re probably ok with cameras in their neighbourhood;

I know this is a hot take, but I think the speed cameras are not cash grabs, because you can speed elsewhere if you don’t want to pay tickets;
The cameras are static, they don’t move, you can;

Otherwise, slow down and nobody will take take your money;
