A new day. A new chance to succeed.

With so much no happening, remembering that yes exists reminds me that it's not the only thing.

We can say yes to the day, regardless of how much no gets shoveled on.

It's not an easy answer. It arrives with baggage that must be dealt with. It requires a variety of strengths. Sometimes just admitting it exists matters.

It can have helpers - "Yes, and ..." or "Yes, but ..."

But sometimes, yes is enough.

A rare day with a full morning of tasks on the calendar. I'll need to pay attention to the clock to stay up with them all.

But for the moment, I have coffee and 90 minutes until sunrise. Enough time to get my day off on an even keel.

One of those days that will go better if I just relax into it. Fretting over being on time or anticipating problems does no good and distracts from the task.
