@MetalheadDana Ball of Molten Lead, Quantum Mystic, Universe Throb and Ether are up there on my Yob top list!

So glad I've had the chance to see them live a couple of times, namely on 2010 and 2012. Massive live sound, both of those performances got later released as live recordings.

@kaspian @HTR muutin omaan kotiin vuonna 1994. Vuotta tai paria myöhemmin maksoin HTV:lle (pre-Welho) kolmisen tuhatta markkaa että vetivät meidän taloon (Harjutorilla, Helsingissä) kaapelin ja sain heidän verkkoyhteytensä käyttööni.
Oli uskomatonta kun nopeus oli lähes megan (oisko ollu ~780 kbps hujakoilla) ja jos HTV:n avoimessa cachessa (!?!) oli jotain kiinnostavaa niin se tuli kymmenien megojen sekuntivauhtia.

FlashFXP oli kovassa käytössä, kone päällä 24/7, aina IRCissä. Elämä muuttui aikalailla, kun kaveritkin kävi kylässä jos piti joku pelidemo tms. isompi saada, nopeampaa kuin yön yli lataaminen

@niko Ah! Mä oon tykänny nostaa lisänäytön läppärin yläpuolelle, menetin puomin (se oli pojan) jossa näyttö oli aiemmin ja nyt sen oman jalan säädöt loppuu sentin pari liian aikaisin.

@niko juu, mulla on himassa tää Applen leveämpi (kera NumPadin) langaton näppis. Toimistolla sama näppis mutta vanha langallinen versio, niitä oli siellä jossain vaiheessa ylimääräisinä eikä se piuha ole siellä haitannut.
Samasta syystä toi läppärin oma näppis on mulle tosi kömpelö käyttää, käytän sitä niin vähän ja harvoin etten opi sen mittoja ja etäisyyksiä.

@niko aipprkl ku rupes potuttamaan ihan sun puolesta! Mun Macbookissa on kans toi Fn samassa paikassa, sen pitäis olla pari näppäintä oikeammalla mun mielestä.
Tota Print Screeniä en tajua ollenkaan! Siinä on konsultoitu jotain eläkeikäistä ohjelmoijjaäijjää, joka on tehny pelkästään hommia unix mainfreimien kanssa jolla mysteerinäppiksellä 70-luvulta lähtien; "juu, näin tän pitää olla".

I was reminded of an old laptop (an HP 620) of mine, which had an added dedicated button for Bluetooth and Wifi. It cycled through on/off stages for both in #Windows and was tied to it possibly though BIOS, but I'm not sure.
I was a #Linux user at the time. Oh the fun!

I had to keep dual boot Windows on it, because if for any reason the wifi was turned off at the BIOS level (I'm assuming), I had to boot to Windows, cycle with the button to have both turned on and then force power down (I think with software shutdown didn't work, but might've been my impatience as well). Now both BT and WLAN would work normally on Linux.

I really dislike non-standard solutions like that, but also topical stuff like specific streaming platform buttons in remotes or keyboard keys for a specific AI service, which obviously are not re-bindable and thusly useless at one point or another.
