@padraig bsd. not the one that macos is based on, but the one macos is BASED ON is made by a pretty outstanding group of people. im no fan of immutable distributions, and i know how many hoops you have to jump through to change something. yes i know, its a feature.

i think its BETTER to fight about this than not to, the problem is that at least 95% of the fights are going to be stupid and miss the point of doing it. it brings a whole new meaning to "choose your battles". people would be less tired of fighting if everyone did it only for the right reasons.
