Pretty cool photos of the first Link Light Rail crossing of the I-90 bridge. Just a reminder that Seattle is a pretty beautiful metro area. I love the mountains and water.

TIL that not only is the I-90 bridge the world's l̶o̶n̶g̶e̶s̶t̶ second-longest floating bridge, but that this crossing is the first time a train has traversed a floating bridge under its own power. Very nice!

Got the roof up! So happy

Woodshed update! Also, it started raining today. No pressure.

Woodshed update! I recruited help and am planning to get the roof on next. I only have a few hours of daylight each day after I log off from work, so might do some construction with the headlamp tonight.

I recruited a friend from church to help and am very grateful for the assistance.

I've been working frantically to finish the wood shed before the rain starts on Sunday and continues throughout next week. Got the posts and beams up, next are the rafters and roofing. It's shaping up well!

I can't wait to fill it with the wood that's been seasoning this summer and add some decorative siding using some old fencing that I picked up.
