Re the npm thing ... the "we are so lucky all they wanted was crypto mining" chatter feels a touch ... naive?

Is there a project for Linux that knows how to interpret the various flash wear/lifecycle values, and presents a summarized "remaining life" value similar to what the vendor-specific (usually Windows/macOS) utilities do?

Manually correlating smartctl values grows tiresome.

(TBH it feels like something smartmontools should itself be doing, since it has such depth of device-specific info in its database?)

Anyone else following GitHub changes via RSS? Seeing an unwelcome change in chattiness.

In the past week or three, even if I am only watching a project at the level of "participation and @mentions" ... for new stars only, I'm now getting releases and commit info in the RSS feed that is neither of these.
