    SCOTUS: We stopped Affirmative Action because you cannot target based on race

    So, stop legacy admissions?
    SCOTUS: NO

    Stop white Afrikaaner "refugees?"
    SCOTUS: NO

    Stop targeting Latino Americans
    SCOTUS: NO

    Stop over-policing Black communities?
    SCOTUS: NO

    Allow Afghan refugees?
    SCOTUS: NO

    Allow South Korean workers?
    SCOTUS: NO

    So, targeting based on race is OK when giving white people unfair advantages but NOT OK when giving Black & brown people equal access?
    SCOTUS: YES FINALLY YOU GET IT.

      @QasimRashid

      If only we had been telling voters for years to consider SCOTUS nominations and confirmations.

      Oh, wait.

        @QasimRashid it's class war. The oligarchs are dismantling what's left of the 250 year old system of checks and balances we created to keep them from enslaving us. The Constitution is no longer an effective means of combating their tyranny.

        #OpenFireForDemocracy the only way to protect the people is to scrap this system and try again.

          @bebadefabo @QasimRashid it's class war (Stalin) and race war (Hitler) all over again. Both has always been part of the USA, but come to full blossom now.

            @QasimRashid

            SCOTUS has become a political tool. They are in the Republican pocket… literally bought and paid for...
            Such institution should in fact be abandoned or reformed. Unacceptable.

              @QasimRashid I've been reading a book about the history of South Africa from colonialism to modern days and, damn, what you just said kind of reminds me of apartheid. Scary how history repeats itself, huh?
