I wouldn't be scared - I believe this is pretty common.@MikeFromLFE I'm more scared about general anaesthetic. It’s always been something that has scared me since a small child seeing my dad in hospital. Never had surgery before. This would be the tube in tube option

If they do decide to use a general anaesthetic then ask if you can talk to the anaesthetist - they are quite used to people with worries and should be able to put your mind - at least a little bit - at rest. -
