    "Legally you can't pause your break. If a manager disrupts your break or gets you back to work for even a minute, the law says your break is to be taken in full (what you've already had does not count). So you can take your break in full."

    I'm sure there's some reasonable restrictions on this otherwise I could start my break at 9am and continue it until 5pm with the occasional few minutes answering stupid questions.

      @jamesb ISTR that you’re only entitled to a break after so many hours of working - can’t remember how many but I think it was at least 4 - so unless you started in the wee small hours 9am is probably too soon.
