I'm sure there's some reasonable restrictions on this otherwise I could start my break at 9am and continue it until 5pm with the occasional few minutes answering stupid questions. -

I'm sure there's some reasonable restrictions on this otherwise I could start my break at 9am and continue it until 5pm with the occasional few minutes answering stupid questions.@jamesb ISTR that you’re only entitled to a break after so many hours of working - can’t remember how many but I think it was at least 4 - so unless you started in the wee small hours 9am is probably too soon.
