So here I am back on Mastodon. I originally tried it when it came out but there wasn't much going on. I recently met a fellow enby and they said now its a great place to meet and chat with other enby people.
Please recommend things I can do to discover people to interact with, maybe joining a group or something? Still figuring this platform out! -

Something we need more than quoting, IMHO. Your best bet is hashtags. Use them a lot, starting with #Introduction #Introductions and maybe #NBi

Also look into starter packs, or instances that explicitly mention the topics you are interested with.

Use the search function and on the results page (depending on how you're using mastodon (eg web or app)) there should be a little bell icon to follow the hashtag.
The more folks you follow, the more of the fediverse you see. There are lots of queer folks here, including a healthy nonbinary community (and maybe some unhealthy ones). There are lots of Toronto people, too.
I hope you find the communities you're looking for!

List of public groups.A previous groups host just recently had technical issues and died, so things are just getting set up again.
If a group isn't there, you can always set one up.
