Silent Hill was good about this. They’d pack an ambulance into an alleyway with less than a centimeter of clearance on each side, and there would be no real way for the driver to get out, but it was creepy cause there wasn’t anyone in the driver’s seat, as if the ambulance was just placed there.
Meanwhile, in the Vyssa Hills in Hell is Us, and the military-issue APC rolls over a single thin tree trunk that the protagonist refuses to step on.
I mean I’ve never been in one but can’t you usually go from the cab to the back of an ambulance directly? Or do you gotta get out and go around?

Yeah you can, they just exited out the back into a silent hill nightmare. Honestly I’d be kicking out the front windshield to get the fuck out of there.

I prefer this over the invisible wall.
Sure, but is it really too much to ask to place something proper instead? The devs already decided to put something there, then at least put something huge that I wouldn’t simply jump over irl.

The little sprouts in Pokemon that you had to cut were pretty bad, considering the flaming death I had since 10 minutes into the game…

Also the player character has 600 lbs of military weaponry on their person. The door’s locked? Have you considered using the RPG or high explosives in your back pocket?
