I don't want to sound smug when I say I never stopped masking, and I haven't had a cold, or covid, for years. But this is factually accurate. I hope that doesn't come out as smug.

@aspeed Same. I used to get sick like clockwork 1-3ish times a year. Bad colds, respiratory infections, flus. Around April 2021 I was like "Wait, not only have I not have covid, I haven't been sick at all in a year."

Never being sick is too awesome to stop. I literally actually don't have time to get sick, I have too many things I need to do.

@sidereal @dedicto @aspeed It’s really amazing how much illness my spouse and I have avoided over the past five years. (Judging by my non-masking friends, that seems compounded by the extra vulnerability to illness you seem to get when you’ve had COVID.)
