        @wonkothesane @micahflee Any option is better. ProtonMail dude is fash, can't be trusted to protect users. Mail is not e2ee and there are no technical measures that can prevent them from betraying you, only trust.

            There was reports about a year ago that accounts were being cancelled for misuse.

            This contradicts their promise that they don't read your emails.

            They admitted publicly that they do monitor account usage to prevent misuse.

            Proton privacy is mere hype.
