@Geri Knew a man, b. 1912 in Milwaukee who attended the 1936 Olympics. He was bicycling around the Baltics. In Poland he pedaled past private road signs leading to the Jagermeister’s hunting lodge. He ended up being invited to breakfast, pretending that he didn’t speak German. Pedaled on to a Bismarck Monument & stole the Nazi flag when the guard went to lunch. Brought it back w/him. Recounted the story on TV in MKE.
