Embarrassing how long it took me to figure this out: If you have a power-hungry new GPU and your PC suddenly shuts off, it's not necessarily a defective component, loose cable, or underpowered PSU.

Embarrassing how long it took me to figure this out: If you have a power-hungry new GPU and your PC suddenly shuts off, it's not necessarily a defective component, loose cable, or underpowered PSU. Your PSU might just be set to multi-rail mode.
Had this exact issue. Under heavy load my PC would just nope out of existence. Turns out that "OC-Key" for single-rail mode isn't just marketing BS after all.
