Today my husband's painstakingly set-up computer we use to host Zoom meetings at the clubhouse was replaced with a new Linux-installed computer because Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 10.

My husband, a computer consultant, did a nice job setting up the Zoom computer at the beginning of COVID, using a spare 5-year-old computer one of his clients had hanging around. It has been five years we have been using it, several times a week.

    Nice work, Stephen.

The consultant who set up the Linux box told me today that my husband would have been proud of me for learning Linux.

No he wouldn't. He would have said something sarcastic about it, because he never wanted to learn anything but Windows.

I repeatedly had to rescue him when he had problems with iOs, in fact.

I didn't even buy my current Mac until after he died three years ago.
