My problem with Signal is that it's under U.S. jurisdiction. The development, the non-profit, and the business โ all of it is American. The servers that your messages pass through are also located entirely within the United States.
We currently have a fascist regime that is demanding corporations and organizations comply with their outrageous demands. Under our current legal system, you can be ordered to comply and prohibited from warning or informing anyone.
Those are just the facts.
