I doubt Trump informed on Epstein to the FBI, but only because it doesn't look like the FBI was making a serious enough attempt to investigate him that they would bother to get informants. -

The rumor is trump was angry about a property deal and called the FBI. Then Alex Acosta just went through the motions for the sweetheart deal with Epstein.
