The horrors of other people doing residential electrical. I’m dealing with my third major have-to-re-run-an-entire-circuit issue becuase various people in the past have committed horrible sins. And this is all just in the kitchen.

@mWare @auxonic luckily, we moved our kitchen so all the important wiring is new.

@human3500 @auxonic we’re contemplating doing the same at our house.

@human3500 @auxonic we're in similar decision mode: master bathroom is like 250sqft... absurdly large, and the ajcaent bathroom is cramped. We want to move the laundry upstairs too.

Combine with multiple leaks having destroyed the kitchen ceiling, and a completely miserable layout, I look at the lounge-area and thing "if we swap the kitchen and the lounge, we get a bigger kitchen" - and could have the existing kitchen still operable while the new one gets built.

... not like we can afford all these renos at once/at all, but when considering a 10-year plan...
