The real clever move Microsoft has pulled is not the AI enshittification of their OS, it’s the Jedi mind trick of thinking their defaults are the one true apps.

@tinker @briankrebs I did - no choice of OS, you said. But are you unable to install other Windows apps?

@davidbcohen - "note: I have no control" - No, I'm unable to install other windows apps or make major configuration changes to system. I don't have administrative privs at all and things such as the Windows Store are blocked. I was able to find a pre-installed classic version of notepad with some effort. So yay.
