I never watched #Babylon5 until last year. When it came out in the early 90's I was a Star Trek snob, what with Deep Space Nine coming out the same year and the last years of TNG taking precedence.

Today I saw some B5 fan art by https://socel.net/@RJB_Mallacore and got the itch to start my first rewatch. I really love the over the top characters of Londo and G'Kar!

While the CGI is a bit wonky, especially in the early seasons, I like the designs of the station and the ships.

@SecularJeffrey DS:9 was Paramount’s thinly veiled copy-cat response to the introduction of a scifi series (B5) with a multi year story arc. Although my friends and I were big Star Trek fans, we all thought B5 was way better at the time.
