For the last couple of hours, I seriously tried to get this old retro laptop to run MS-DOS and/or Windows 95, but in the end I eventually had to give it up. I just couldn't find all the necessary drivers. Also, its historic 10GB HDD was still too large for that "pre-FAT32" FDISK. I had to admit, this Pentium III 866 MHz system would probably be better off running a more modern OS.

So, I thought about installing Windows NT 4 or 2000, but then ... I just installed XP. And suddenly, everything just worked! As a first game, I already installed "Age of Empires II", which looks right at home in this 4:3 aspect ratio! So far, so good.

Oh, crap... it's already 2:35am. Good night, everyone!
