Today I reversed yesterday's ride on the Mickelson Trail, this time from Edgemont to Hill City. for 62 miles. Today was considerably harder with significantly more climbing. Even though it was the same route, it is different as you see things from a different angle and under different lighting. I especially like the early morning lighting. I did not see another soul for the first 23 miles, and only the second after 33 miles. But the last 10 miles was downhill.
