I’m going to leave GitHub (I’ve been a user since the beta days) and will incessantly ask everyone I know to leave it as well if you don’t roll back the “can’t opt out” force-feeding of “AI” nonsense.
You should also have no integration or collaboration with Xai at all, ever.
Make your management have some sense, this is hostile and disgusting and wrong.

Is Codeberg an alternative for ESPHome dev?@claude_flammang I don't know if there's anything special about ESPHome that's relevant here, but Codeberg focuses heavily on open-source projects and generally wants projects which are hosted with them to be licensed under an open-source license, with some small carve-outs basically for ancillary stuff. https://docs.codeberg.org/getting-started/faq/#can-i-host-content-without-a-free-and-open-source-license%3F
