    Did some maintenance the other day and cleaned out a metric shit ton of dryer lint out of the dryer vent tube from the outside.

    The lint trap on this particular dryer seems to do NOTHING. Sure, it catches a token amount of lint, but holy shit, the rodent guard on the outside is catching more lint then the mesh screen built in to the LG dryer.

    so dumb.

          @bosh @chux0r Fun fact, when you do laundry, the machine broadcasts a wifi ssid.

          I have those SSIDs setup as malicious in my WLC to prevent any "accidents."

              @bosh @chux0r through a series of SNMP probes to my WLC, and homeassistant, I can tell you when the dryer is done at least.

              and no LG was allowed to touch ethernet
