Now that Charlie Kirk's been shot I'm of course seeing liberal Politicians and even Zohran Mamdani talk about how political violence has no place in this country.

The very nature of this country is political violence. It was colonized/stolen with violence. It was declared independent with violence. It was expanded/stolen with violence. It's influence has been maintained with violence. It's subjugated it's own people with violence. It strips our rights with violence. Political violence exists throughout our history both domestically and abroad.

The only time, however, when political violence isn't acceptable, is when those without power decide the time for violence is now. Whether or not the violence is just is another story.
