I search for a way to see #notifications from #HomeAssistant an my PC.
There is a client for windows but i only use #fedora .I found a client on github but the last commit is 8 years old.
It doesn't have to be something specific to homeassistant just something that can receive notifications from homeassistant.
And I use #Gnome by the way.

@CaptainMalu Have you tried Telegram? I use it for all my homelab notifications. Sending a message needs no client, just a curl call.

@pu yes. But telegram isn't always fast enough. Also I have to remember to start it and the notifications on PC aren't accurate. It only shows there are new messages not from whom or what they are about.

@CaptainMalu Hmmm I cannot confirm that for my use. But I mainly use the mobile client and start the desktop client only when I need to go in detail over several alerts.

@CaptainMalu Re speed: I need to correct myself. Your reply made me look into it in more detail, and indeed it has become very slow. I switched to XMPP instead and that is looking good at first sight.
