    When you choose a word to reflect humanity and to show your distro is for everyone, you've made an explicitly political statement.

    Having your discourse being a "no politics" zone, editing someone's identity out shows the soul of the moderation team and to some extent who you listen to in that community. You chose that mod who edited out the word queer. You made it political, not the original poster.

    Everything is political.

    The desire to eradicate queer from someone's identity is political
