Does your employer know your gaming handle?

Employers don't just Google job candidates. Many monitor current employees online too. Same username across platforms makes that search trivially easy.

WIGGWIGG lets you build a dedicated streaming identity, separate number and all. Zero-knowledge encrypted, compartmentalized from your real life.

@wiggwigg or you could just learn to use multiple, seperate identities and practise #OpEec, #ComSec, #InfoSec & #ITsec…

@kkarhan 100% — good OpSec hygiene is the foundation. We're building for the folks who know they should compartmentalize but realistically juggle 6 platforms, 3 emails, and a dozen passwords across identities. Discipline gets harder at scale. Tools help the discipline stick.

@wiggwigg OFC, and it necessitates more than a password manager.

@kkarhan Right! On WIGGWIGG the vault (our password manager) is just one piece. Our identity manager gives each identity its own real phone number, address, persona -- the whole surface, not just the passwords making the management easier to deal with.

@wiggwigg So how do you deal with like restrictive juristictions re:phone numbers and addresses that may not be easy to obtain - espechally legally...

              • Germany comes to mind...

Now granted, someone's Gaming Tag / Fursona / Vtuber identity doesn't need those everywhere and everytime, but I wounder if you have partners on that front...

              • Because that's been a painpoint many VIP support clients I know have...

@kkarhan Great question. We're launching Canada-first — real Canadian numbers across multiple area codes, fully legal. International expansion (US, UK, EU) is on the roadmap but we're not going to rush into jurisdictions where we can't do it right.

You're spot on that Germany is a tough one with their registration requirements. No partners on that front yet, but it's exactly the kind of problem we want to solve properly, not half-baked.

@wiggwigg Yeah, Canada, US and UK are easy to obtain numbers and even get P.O. boxes setup.

                  • Cuz many places in the EU kinda went fash and even mandate "KYC" for like prepaid numbers (only, at least in Germany!) which is absolutely insane.
                    • I mean I can understand why someone wants it for like a tennancy and lease as there's a non-zero chance of tennants causing damages, but still...

I do hope for your service only the best.

                  • I'd just want you to know that if you intent to expand to the EU, you may want to make shure that neither you nor your suppliers fall under CloudAct just to avoid that kick in the groin when that gets axed by a judge as mutually incompatible...

@kkarhan Really appreciate the insight on CLOUD Act, that's the kind of thing that's easy to overlook until it bites you. Noted for when EU expansion is on the table.
