After all, Jesus too was prosecuted for his expression. We have fair and equitable guidelines for our users and moderators, ensuring that any reports filed are compared against our own rules and that of the instance the report originated from. We even investigate reports on staff independently to ensure they are peer reviewed and free from bias. We go above and beyond what most do to ensure that we maintain a comfortable and inclusive environment by carefully balancing free expression with fairness and equity. Choosing instead to deal with people on a case-by-case basis rather than blanket banning entire instances.

I don't take slander of our instance lightly, and wanted to leave you with a scripture in hope that you may reflect on your decision.

Absolutely! I for one have never found myself welcome in spaces like that. Often or not, they would end up becoming an echo chamber where freedom of expression is stilted in favor of conformity instead enabling people to feel comfortable enough to freely express themselves.

Neondystopia.world is that place for neurodivergent flk or any other outcast that happens to feel at home in our culture. We have already taken steps to address some of the concerns raised by the bishop and @moira@mastodon.murkworks.net by creating a new page outlining our policies on federation and moderation. It is still a work in progress, but hopefully we can point other instance operators to the page as an example of how we handle reports, federation and the culture and philosophy of the instance. Putting to rest any concerns one might have about the activity on our instance resembling some of the problematic markers often commonly associated with bad actors.

You're more than welcome to do so, but we personally choose to deal with incidents as they occur on a case-by-case basis. Fediblock is often used as a tool for censorship by bad actors that positioning themselves as authorities and as such we do not wish to participate in that kind of culture.
