PSA: Loops does not federate
Despite calling itself "federated" in its own README file the recently released version 1.0 alpha version of Loops does not contain any ActivityPub federated related code.
This project worthless until this code actually gets written and added (maybe, if you trust Dansup will actually deliver).
Instead of a v1.0-alpha, this is more like a v0.1. Probably a way to create artificial hype for a project that is clearly not even close to being usable.
It's also not representative to the software running on loops.video, this version of Loops is proprietary! Avoid using! -
