@meganL I'm fascinated by the thought of planting trees like this, but worried about doing it for exactly that reason: Getting it wrong could cause more harm than benefit. For now I've stuck to planting small native trees in wholly unmanaged areas instead of more useful spaces for that reason. How do you feel about 'assisted migration', or planting non-native species that are very close regionally and possible better adapted to a local climate that's changing rapidly?

Back when "Crip Camp" was up for an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature, the Academy Awards finally made an effort to be accessible, including a showcase ramp to the stage.
