Who remembers the pirate radio station Energy 106 from the late 90s?
Energy 106 was a dance, trance and EDM radio station based in Belfast but the mast for it was located on ‘Alien Mountain’ in Monaghan.

They would shut down in the early 00s, and then not heard from for a while.

They recently got as licence to broadcast on DAB digital radio and are working on getting their studio set up for live broadcasts.

They may have seen this thread… Energy 106 have announced that they are returning back on DAB Radio and online on the 6th October.
