This is going to be an ever-changing document of rules for the Politics forum on Caint.ie.
These rules are alongside the main Caint.ie rules (“Main Site Rules”). If a ruling here contradicts a ruling within the Main Site Rules, the rules here take precedence, but for this Politics section only.They may be updated without notice, so please check back every so often to refresh yourself on the rules.
In the fairness of the rules for everyone, there will be a “3 Strike” system in place.
Depending on the severity of the break, you may be removed from the Politics forum.- Be nice.
- Don’t get into heated arguments/debates. You can disagree with something, but opinions should be respected.
- Don’t be inciting violence or protests. We don’t want Caint in the news, thank you.
- Try to provide sources where possible. Also, take the time to use an archiving tool to capture the news article at the time of publication. We recommend using https://archive.is/
